This design was inspired by a flower Sir Francis Bellencourt discovered while on safari in the jungles of Paraguay in the early 19th century. It was said to have driven him into state of hallucination for weeks after smelling it’s scent. Afterwards, he went on a rampage throughout the city of New Orleans defiling every street light and fire hydrant in his path.
